HIMYM : Episode 22 : The End of the Aisle

It took me 9 years and 206 episodes to realize this – I love you Ted Moseby. You are definitely one person I would want to spend my rest of the life. You are a best friend, lover and a protector, all in one package and if there is something that keeps us apart, it is the fact that you are way too perfect for me. I might never be good enough for you. This particular episode was the end of the story in a way. Finally, we see Ted moves on. I believe that the show was not about ‘How Ted meets the Mother’ but it was more…

    How I met your Mother

When asked Cristin (The Mother) about how she would describe the ending of the 9 season long journey to be, she said beautiful. If I was asked the question, I would reply saying ‘Legend I-am-so-gonna-miss-you-and-wait-for-you-forever ary’. This is definitely one show that I never wanted to end. Even as I write this, I stare at the picture of Ted and the Mother, on my window and while Ted is smiling towards me, the mother is smiling seeing Ted. Like Josh said, I am really happy for Ted. I am glad that he finally found the one. It has indeed been very long and somewhere I wanted the Mother to…

Miracle of the Day : 14 January 2014

It’s very important to have some elders in your house… they are an integral part of the change we have from house to home. Not only elders are there to guide us through the trickiest bits and point out our flaws, at certain times, when they get so excited about small things or when they bless you for no big reason else than to bless you, is what makes life worth living! I had a similar experience when I visited my bua (father’s sister) on the 14th of January, 2014. That day, one of our regional festivals was there and we decided just to go and visit her on…

    ‘Love Stories’ in a metro

On Monday, while travelling in the Metro, a strange thing happened to me. I got to the station just in time to board the train. It was one crowded coach of a crowded train that I boarded! There was just some space by the door where one could stand. I went as inside as possible (which wasn’t even two full steps) and then held onto the left side handle by the door. There was already someone standing, leaning against the left side map and so I had to stand partially blocking the way to the door. Then, probably at Yamuna Bank Station (enroute Pragati Maidan to Noida City Centre), a…

Comedy Nights – NOT so much comedy!!

Foremost, no offence to any of the Comedy Nights fans or to the ‘Indian of the Year’ – Mr. Kapil Sharma (definitely, the comic legend of the country). I, myself, is an avid fan of the show and havent missed a single episode of the show. Let me first start with telling how much I adore Kapil and his comic skills – Kapil, a simple person from a very simple family, to being the most loved man of the country, Kapil has set new standards for comedy, as well as for Indian Television. He has redefined the term ‘entertainer’. I don’t really know much details about the man but from…

Miracle of the day : 28th January 2014

I recall that just the other day, when my friend – Sanjana and I were leaving the office to go home and the office – bus service wasn’t up. Initially we didn’t know that the bus wouldn’t operate that day and so, we waited for some time. Finally, we decided to take an auto. During the waiting period, Sanjana pointed to another bus waiting nearby. It was a normal tourist bus and had the two of us been in our hostel region, we wouldn’t have given a second thought about boarding the bus or asking for lift. But we were not in Nainital. We were in Delhi or to…
