My TCS Experience : 23rd – 24th October 2013
Hey friends, First of all let me inform you by telling, if you don’t already know, I am a computer science and engineering graduation student and this is my last year. A few companies have visited our college; TCS was the first company to do so., definitely the gem out of the lot. Disclaimer : I am not mentioning any names over here. I just don’t think that I should. I have however written all other things, very honest, to the best of my knowledge. I was fortunate enough to meet the eligibility criteria for the company and to be a little self-boosting, I was one of the toppers of…

Jai Ho
Sorry if you were looking for the movie review, this is definitely not the ‘Movie Review’. This is more the thought review. As most of you might already know, ‘Jai Ho’ is the Salman Khan’s new movie (directed by Sohail Khan). Also, what some of you might or might not know is that this movie was initially rumoured to be named as ‘Mental’ or ‘Mentalist’. The story behind the rumour is the interesting bit. The ideology is the theme behind the entire movie; the ideology to help others in order to make this world a better place to live in. But as better put by Salman Khan on Comedy…

Introduction to Databases : Online Stanford Course
Its been a real long time and I know that this particular post should have come out long back, but well, its better late than never 😉 I don’t always promote or endorse studies but this is one thing that I really wanted to. A friend of mine told me that Stanford University offers courses that can be taken online without any payment and there is so much that we can learn from them. I immediately checked the website and it was true. Thank you Sudheesh. Anyways, I took up a course of networking but I really didn’t continue it seriously. Later, I left that particular course. Then in my…

It’s the way you want to see, that you see things!
I am sure that each one of us has heard this statement quite a few times but what matters is that how many people actually follow it. It is easier done than said – no, you didn’t read incorrect, I did write – ‘easier done than said’. You know life’s isnt that cruel as we sometimes see it as but it is often that we see life as so cruel that it gets so! I know, you might be thinking that it is very easy to write it on the internet… but well, I can prove it to you if you give me another few precious minutes of your…

New Year Resolution : 1st January 2014
Hey Friends… Happy New Year 2014…. And Just imagine, here we thought the world would end in 2012… and now it’s already 2013!! Maybe the process is running a little late 😛 Anyways, this time as my New Year Resolution, I thought of many ones… but you know what? New Year isn’t the only day to take a resolution… if I am capable enough and of course willing enough, I can take a resolution at any day and as long as I keep it, it will be as good as a New Year Resolution! However, I really considered a lot of resolutions… I seriously need to work out and…

Haaaave you met Ted??
Trust me, every time I think that the series will soon come to an end; aargh!! The very thought is deplorable. I started watching this show on my train journey back home. I saw most part of the season 1 episodes and trust me, I just couldn’t stop watching. Season after season, I didn’t stop till I was through with the 7th season (that was the last season aired till then). And there doesn’t still go a moment by when I watch the show and I experience both the tears of laughter as well as the sadness of the fact the show will eventually end. I thought of writing…

The Monk who sold his Ferrari : Book Review
There is a beautiful line in the veteran actor Rajesh Khanna starrer movie Anand – ‘Its very simple to be happy but very difficult to be simple’. Even before having read the book, I was really wanting to write an entry with the same topic, but now having read the book, I just think I have couple more points and I could really write this article right now. Firstly, lets talk a little about the book. Honestly, who am I to talk about the international bestseller, that has moved people all over the world? It’s a very simple and short story which just teaches us two things…
